The Books

In With Crystal Clarity, Captain Brett Thatcher commands the Star Union Patrol Fleet Flagship, Starwitch. While on patrol, he encounters two extraordinary women.

Terriat Miat-Alaii, Warrior Leader of the First House of Cail, is the symbiotic partner of an alien crystalline being that shares its amazing abilities with her.

Ariel Perry is a woman on the run because a genetic mutation has given her incredible healing gifts that the Genetic Research Institute would do anything to duplicate.

Both women attract and intrigue Thatcher. All he has to do is survive meeting them!

In this exciting follow-up, The Gale-Borne Child tells the story of young Terriat Paxton.

Orphaned at 7 summers, Terriat has had a hard life in Galat, the village of her birth. Unwanted, neglected and abused, 12 summer-old Terriat has one chance to escape the sure prospect of unofficial slavery: apprenticeship into the Shii-Alaii Order. To get it, she must run away from Galat to compete in the annual trials against hundreds of others for one of very few slots. All of her rivals are older, all are better prepared for the competition, and all are fully supported by their villages.

Can she beat the odds against her and fulfill her life's ambition? What will happen to her once she starts out on the path of adventure? Better ask Matonee, Warrior Leader of the First House of Cail, the most powerful person in the entire star system!
